Building the Bonds of Friendship: Harrah's H.E.R.O. Volunteers Adopt Two SRVS Homes     Pictured above: Members of Harrah's H.E.R.O. Volunteers pose for a picture before treating both of their adopted SRVS' homes to beautiful landscaping.     SRVS is very proud to announce a new volunteer partnership with Harrah's Corporation!  Members of Harrah's H.E.R.O's, the casino's corporate community volunteer group, have adopted two of SRVS' homes.  The collaboration began last Christmas and ever since the volunteers have been generously giving their time and love to six service recipients from both of the homes.  At Christmas, the H.E.R.O's provided a wonderful holiday party for our individuals.  They also bought them Christmas gifts and a beautiful Christmas tree with decorations for each home. Recently the H.E.R.O's held a spruce-up day and BBQ celebration for the two homes in May.  After a full day of hard work, the volunteers had transformed each of the home's bare yards into a garden of oasis!  Afterwards, everyone got together to enjoy delicious hamburgers and hotdogs hot off the grill.  The weather was perfect for our individuals, Sam, Mack, Clifton, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Deidre, who were all smiles as they visited with their special volunteer friends. SRVS would like to thank all the Harrah's H.E.R.O's for creating beautiful yards for our individuals to enjoy and a scrumptious meal for these deserving guys and gals.
