SRVS
AMBASSADOR CLUB
Opens the Door to Volunteer Opportunities for
People with Developmental Disabilities |

What is the Ambassador Club?
The Ambassador Club is a new volunteer club started at SRVS, a
non-profit United Way agency which
supports people with developmental disabilities.
It was created by and for people with developmental
disabilities as a way to bring meaningful volunteer
opportunities to the service recipients at SRVS.
The
members of the Ambassador Club are adults aged 18 and above who want to
help others in need by
contributing to their communities as volunteers or ambassadors of good
will. Each volunteer is
accompanied by a direct support staff. |

What types of activities can the members
participate in?
The members are looking for a variety of ways to
experience life and volunteer their time and talents.
They are interested in being door greeters, cheerleaders
at events, ticket takers and nursing home companions.
They can assist animal shelters, pass out
event or museum flyers and brochures, help with
transporting
food and items, delivering meals, collecting donated
goods and directing people to activities and events.
They are willing and able to volunteer for just about
any event or activity!
Please help these ambassadors fulfill their dreams of
giving back to their
communities by helping others!
