Thanks to eighteen devoted Carnival Memphis Volunteers who braved a cold wet Saturday morning on December 12th to give SRVS' new building a wonderful face-lift. With chainsaws, leaf blowers, and lots of rakes in hand, they cleared, cleaned, trimmed and edged the property and it looks fantastic! For four long cold hours they worked until the entire front area of the new building was complete. While the men finished up and bagged the remaining leaves, the ladies came in and completed a mailing. "The Carnival Memphis Volunteers were great and we could have never have done this without them," said Cheryl Anderson, SRVS Development Coordinator. SRVS sends out a big thanks to Ed Galfsky, Executive Director of Carnival Memphis, and his team of hard workers!
