Division of Intellectual Disabilities Services (DIDS) Deputy Commissioner James R. Finch along with several DIDS staff visited SRVS day center, workshop, administrative building and newly built THDA home on July 20, 2010.  That same week, SRVS learned they had been designated as a triple star agency by DIDS and Deputy Commissioner Finch.  The designation is based on a comprehensive quality management system which includes numerous mechanisms that measure the quality of services and support provided by community-based providers that support the special needs population across the state.  In addition, SRVS’ Direct Support Professional (DSP) Dorothy Jackson was awarded the Direct Support Professionals of Tennessee DSP of the Quarter award for her outstanding quality care to the service recipients she supports at SRVS.
