MEMPHIS, Tenn., April 11, 2019 – SRVS Kids & Families will host its 23rd annual Bunny Run 5K on April 20 at Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Survivors Park, 701 Perkins Ext.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. All proceeds from the run support SRVS Kids & Families, a program of Shelby Residential and Vocational Services (SRVS) offering early intervention and therapies, family support groups and an inclusive preschool for children with developmental delays. Last year, SRVS Kids & Families supported more than 600 children.
Register a team or as an individual. The cost is $10 for people with disabilities, $15 for children 14 and younger, $20 to be a spirit runner and $25 for early registration. The cost is $30 if you sign up on race day. Awards will be given in 15 age categories, plus first place in overall open, master and grandmaster. Children with special needs will have their own age group categories. This is a USA Track and Field certified course allowing your name to be in the Tennessee State Record Books.
In addition to the 5K, the event will include a visit by the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt, games for children, music and more. To register, visit bunnyrun.racesonline.com/register.
